Minority Access, Inc. is proud of our association with our partners. Through grants, cooperative agreements and purchase orders, Minority Access, Inc. has placed over 700 students in intern positions with nearly 30 agencies within the Federal Government. Although Minority Access, Inc. has placed more than half its interns in positions in the Washington Metropolitan Area; we have extensive experience in overseeing placement of interns outside the area. With our assistance many federal agencies have filled intern positions at field offices in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Nevada, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah and other locations throughout the United States.
Interns placed through Minority Access, Inc. have designed web pages, created spreadsheets and databases, conducted research, drafted proposals, authored publications, assisted in formulating policies, suggested cost saving innovations and provided fresh approaches to completing many other assignments. Their majors range from business to communication to science and technology.
Interns have been recruited from minority and majority institutions of higher education throughout the Nation. They have represented colleges and universities such as Boston College, Bowie State University, Corcoran School of Arts, Duke University, Florida A&M University, Georgetown University, Hampton University, Harvard University, Howard University, New Mexico State University, Rensselaer Polytechnical Institution, Tuskegee University, University of Arizona, University of Maryland and many, many more.
