MINORITY ACCESS  ASSOCIATES PROGRAM

The Minority Access Associate Program is offered to colleges and universities and/or departments/schools therein as well as to individuals.

The Associate Program for colleges and universities or departments/schools within colleges and universities offers a prepaid package of benefits and services at substantial discounts to support diversity and expanded research opportunities at academic institutions. Recruitment efforts, directed particularly toward talented underrepresented students, are assisted by college recruitment fairs at Minority Access' National Role Models Conferences, advertising in Minority Access' publications, and hyperlinks on Minority Access' Website. Priority in nominating Role Models to be honored at Minority Access’ National Role Models Conference, student participation in Minority Access-sponsored research seminars and inclusion in Minority Access' internship program are other benefits of the package.

Colleges and universities and/or departments/schools therein have the flexibility of subscribing to one of three different Associate Packages: Premier, Elite or Standard.

Standard and Elite levels offer substantial but limited benefits of the program. Premier participants are entitled to the most comprehensive list of services of the Minority Access Associate Program, including  one representative in the Minority Access delegation to China to observe firsthand diversity in China’s higher education system.  The Premier Associate fee covers roundtrip international travel between JFK Airport and Beijing, all intra-China domestic flights, ground transportation, transfers and baggage handling service in China, tours, first class hotel accommodations in China and most meals.  The itinerary with other information and travel reservation form are available on our website at www.minorityaccess.org or by calling Minority Access at (301) 779-7100.  Premier Associates not desiring international travel may take advantage of option two of the Premier level.   

In addition, Minority Access provides an opportunity for any individual to manifest his/her--or a friend's--support of its efforts by becoming an Individual Minority Access Associate.
